Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Episode 8 Thoughts
I don’t often do episode reviews because I have a hard time writing once a week or having a schedule. I do this as a hobby people! I write when I’m inspired and episode 8 got me inspired to just write some things down. This is going to be ridiculously short compared to my other posts.
What was so good about it?
I have mentioned this before, I love shounen series. I even have mentioned this thing called a “shounen heart”. The shounen heart is a factor that involves a protagonist of a shounen series showing traits of honour, dignity, a burning desire to become better, and a love for friends. I don’t think I’ve seen something exemplified better than in episode 8 of Pick Up Dungeon. Bell, as mentioned in the previous post is the prototypical shounen protagonist and I loved him in this past episode. He showed a need and vigor to become better from the brink of death, he put his love of his friends above his own, and he achieved his goal all while looking bad ass. I loved this episode and more than anything I loved that there was not too much fan service.
